Muon Collider Physics at Very High Energies
Muon colliders might greatly extend the energy frontier of collider physics. One can contemplate circular colliders with center-of-mass energies in excess of 10 TeV. Some physics issues that might be relevant at such a machine are discussed.
متن کاملRole of quantum fluctuations at high energies
In this report we investigate an influence of virtual particles on the classical motion of a system in Minkowski and Euclidean spaces. Our results indicate that fluctuations of fields different from the main field decelerate significantly its motion at high energies. The formalism described here is applicable to the majority of inflationary models. A smallness of temperature fluctuation of cosm...
متن کاملDeformed Quantum Field Theory, Thermodynamics at Low and High Energies, and Gravity. II. Deformation Parameter
The principal objective of this paper is to show that deformation of the General Relativity within the scope of both the Generalized Uncertainty Principle (UV-cutoff) and the Extended Uncertainty Principle (IR-cutoff) in the cases when the corresponding gravitational equations have a thermodynamic interpretation may be studied in terms of a small parameter introduced in previous works of the au...
متن کاملMultiplicity Distributions in Qcd at Very High Energies
It is shown that QCD is able to predict very tiny features of multiplicity distributions at very high energies which demonstrate that the negative binomial distribution (and, more generally speaking, any infinitely divisible distribution) is inappropriate for precise description of experimental data. New precise fits of high energy multiplicity distributions can be derived. In this report, I br...
متن کاملOn the quantum loop weak interaction corrections at high energies
We perform comparative analyses of quantum loop corrections to some observationally important twoand three-point Green functions within two distinct symmetry-breaking mechanisms. It appears that the existing high-energy data, neutrino experiments and present astrophysical and cosmological constraints strongly disfavour the Higgs mechanism, while the introduction of the noncontractible space as ...
